Rye, NH

Rye New Hampshire consists of about 1/3 of the states coastline starting from the north at Ordione Point, the mouth of the Piscataqua River and running along the Atlantic Ocean south.  Rye was originally a prosperous fishing area and then became a first class summer resort in the Victorian era.  Still widely popular with visitors, but primarily a residential community. Four of the Nine islands called Isle of Shoals belongs to the town of Rye.
